Saint John the Evangelist School is part of a sixteen-acre parish complex overlooking scenic Long Green Valley in northern Baltimore County. Included on the parish grounds are a church, an historic chapel, a parish center, a Knights of Columbus meeting building, and a statue of Mary around which students pray the Angelus at noon. The school, a two-story brick building, consists of sixteen classrooms, a library, a health suite, and an administrative suite all of which are computer networked with Internet capability. Student assemblies, hot lunches, physical education activities, and extended day services currently take place in the parish hall. A large and newly resurfaced parking area provides ample space for recess activity and easy access for arrival and dismissal by students and parents. The building is furnished with a twenty-four hour security system and a monitored fire alarm system. Architectural plans have been made for a cafegymatorium adjacent to the existing building.
